  Restrictions related to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine

1   Avoidance of Operations in the Crisis Area

Belgian air operators and owners of aircraft registered in Belgium shall not enter Kyiv UIR (UKBU), Lviv FIR (UKLV), Kyiv FIR (UKBV), Dnipropetrovsk FIR (UKDV), Simferopol FIR (UKFV), Odesa FIR (UKOV), Rostov FIR (URRV). Flight operations shall also be avoided within the buffer zone extending out to 200 NM along the Ukraine/Russia border. Operations within Chisinau FIR (LUUU) shall only be undertaken in compliance with the applicable aeronautical publications issued by the Republic of Moldova. Additional risk assessment and flight planning decisions shall be taken before operating in Moscow FIR (UUWV).

2   Restrictions for Russian Operators

ll Russian registered aircraft and aircraft owned, chartered or operated, or otherwise controlled by natural or legal persons from the Russian Federation or by operators holding an air operator certificate (AOC) issued by the Russian Federation Authorities are prohibited to enter, exit or overfly Belgian and Luxembourgish airspace, except for humanitarian, SAR and leased aircraft one-way return flights with the permission of the appropriate Belgian or Luxembourgish authorities and in case of emergency landing or emergency overflight.

NOTAMs A2213/22, A2214/22 and A2665/22 are hereby cancelled.
