  ELLX - Obstacles due to Construction Work

1   General

Construction works are taking place at Luxembourg Airport for the new “Skypark Business Center” building. The works are located right next to and on the western side of Terminal A.

The works have started in November 2020 and are now in phase 3.

To complete the works, four fixed cranes operate on the “Skypark” construction site.

2   Phase 3

Phase 3 has started as of mid-February 2022 and is expected to last until the end of 2024.

Crane G1 has been disassembled in March 2023.

Crane G2 has been disassembled in July 2023.

Crane G4 has been disassembled in January 2024.

Crane G3 and G5 (phase 3 of construction) disassembly date TBD.

Cranes G6 and G7 (phase 3 of construction) are expected to be disassembled by the end of 2024.

3   Impact on Obstacle Clearance Altitudes (OCA)

Due to the height of the cranes, the OCA has been temporarily increased for the following IAP:
